Once you have completed your assessment the Physiotherapist will design a personal exercise programme that is unique to you. The benefits of these programmes are:
- Increase in mobility and range of movement
- Increase or maintain strength
- Increase confidence
- Increase or maintain independence
These programmes may consist of:
- Stretching exercises
- Exercises to correct muscle imbalances
- Balance and Co-ordination exercises
- Muscle control exercises
The Physiotherapist will review your personal exercise programme during treatment sessions and will progress them appropriately so that you can maintain or improve your condition.
