We provide a community based nutrition and dietetic service for adults who are being fed completely or partially by nasogastric, gastrostomy or jejunostomy  tube at home.

We also advise those patients who are finding it difficult to meet their nutritional needs through food alone and those who may need to be assessed for tube feeding e.g.  patients with multiple sclerosis, motor neurone disease, Huntingdon’s disease, stroke, acquired brain injury, cancer.

In order to access our service patients must be registered with a Solihull GP or  not being seen by another Specialist Dietitian in the region or requires shared care. We also provide training to Solihull Community staff, GPs and appropriate community health care providers on the recognition and treatment of malnutrition.
