Once you have completed your assessment the Physiotherapist will design a personal exercise programme that is unique to you. The benefits of these programmes are:

  • Increase in mobility and range of movement
  • Increase or maintain strength
  • Increase confidence
  • Increase or maintain independence

These programmes may consist of:

  • Stretching exercises
  • Exercises to correct muscle imbalances
  • Balance and Co-ordination exercises
  • Muscle control exercises

The Physiotherapist will review your personal exercise programme during treatment sessions and will progress them appropriately so that you can maintain or improve your condition.
